'Green Travel'
Through our School Travel Plan which was approved in July 2008, East Barnet School is keen to encourage 'Green Travel', and to promote the use of public transport.
The school is served by good transport links as a means of getting to and from school.
As part of our STP Action Plan we have installed cycle storage racks at both sites, enabling students to ride their bikes to school and store them securely until the end of the day.
The 307, 298, 184 and 384 bus routes all make stops close to our Chestnut Grove site, and the 307 and 384 bus routes also make stops near to Westbrook Crescent.
Chestnut Grove is near to Cockfosters tube station as well as Oakleigh Park Rail Station. Westbrook Crescent is close to New Barnet Railway Station.
