There is a library at each site. Opening times are as follows:
Chestnut Grove (Lower Site):
Mon-Fri 9:00am - 4:30pm
Westbrook Crescent (Upper Site):
Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00am - 3:30pm
Tues, Thurs 9:00am - 4:00pm
Use of the Library
All students are welcome to come to the library to study, complete homework, read or borrow resources. If students need any help, the library staff are there to help you.
Library Rules
Students are expected to:

Respect others while in the library, and work or read as quietly as possible.

Refrain from eating, drinking or chewing.

Ensure that all resources are issued to them before taking them out of the library.
Mobile phones, MP3 players and walkmans will be confiscated if used in the library.

Computers
Computers are provided in the library at both sites for student use. Computers are only to be used for research or homework.
Chestnut Grove: There are 14 computers which may be used at break and lunchtimes. There is a booking system in place for lunchtimes.
Westbrook Crescent: There are 10 computers in the library area.
Borrowing Limits
All students are automatically members of the library when they join the school and may borrow up to two books at a time.
Borrowing Times
All items may be borrowed for up to two weeks. Items may be renewed up to three times.
Items overdue for more than two weeks will result in the student receiving a letter reminding them to return the item or renew it immediately.
Items regarded as lost will be charged for. Students will receive a bill to cover the replacement value of the item.

24/7 Online Reference Library
The London Borough of Barnet Libraries provide an online Reference Library through their website, www.barnet.gov.uk/research-service. You can access major encyclopaedias, reference books and newspapers free of charge using your Barnet library card. For example, Grove Music Online, Britannica Online, The Times Online.
